My rep started out very helpful and responded in a great time, but then she was out of the office and I was handed off to someone else who did not do their research on the order and messed it up significantly I started the process in the beginning of February and I still do not have my items. Luckily another rep followed up admitting their mistake, but I still had to pay additional fees because someone screwed up the invoice to begin with. I got transferred back to my original rep that did all she good to cut back some of the fees, but because of this experience we will probably not being using sign world anymore. It is to big of a company, I do not want to have to repeat my order and wishes to Three separate reps, I would rather have someone know my order and deal with the same person every time.

Simply, the pricing issue of shipping an item from the Canadian site doesn't change because you might have a Canadian site but the product is in the U.S.A.
Taxes and all that stuff made our $106 dollar item cost us $180 to arrive at our door.

I am opening a store and ordered (Silver Aluminium Roll Up Standee, For Promotional Activities) a reception desk from DisplayMart. I picked the premium shipping (around $450.00) since I would be alone to receive it, and with that service, it would be delivered inside, unpack, and packing materials will be removed. Great, isn't it?
That was until the shipping company called me to ask me when I wanted it delivered. I asked them to confirm that they would deliver it inside, etc, and the lady - not that nice - told me that they don't do that. It will be dropped in front of the store, then it is my problem.
Called back DisplayMart, and four days later they confirmed to me that this shipping company would not do the premium shipping. Did I still want the desk delivered without even offering a discount on the shipping! I cancelled my order and ordered (Silver Aluminium Roll Up Standee, For Promotional Activities) the same desk from another company which only charged me $150.00 for the same kind of delivery. So, no, I won't use that company again.

The first chalk board arrived damaged. Because it was rather large and the packaging quite extensive, I dreaded having to box this thing up and ship it back. When I called customer service, they promptly sent me a new one. No need to return the damaged one, as it isn't cost effective to return it. I was relieved not to have to schlepp it back to UPS. Slightly disappointed as first case did not have a handle, the second one did. I have had older cases of thicker material that I had gotten in a thrift shop. These cases are more flimsy material. Inside sections cut crooked.. However I will use both of them and not return them.

Shipping was very good. The product shipped the day after I placed the order. One piece oddly came a few days after the other which is weird beings they were shipped together but I will put that on Fed Ex and the terrible weather. I opened the product today to find that it is very poor quality. The holes to put the hardware in are already cracked out and disintegrating. Its already falling apart and I haven't even started to put it together.

The only concern I have is with the packaging. By the time the box arrived it was nearly cut in two by the metal podium. The podium only had a small scuff on one of the corners, but nothing we can't touch up with some paint.

Usually a great experience with DisplayMart but this particular shipment the freight packaging wasn't ideal. It was all stacked onto a pallet that was about to fall over by the time it reached us and the boxes had been damaged. So far we've found no damage to the product.

The company I work for always used paper glued to foam board and then put a cardboard easel on the back. Since I started, we have been using these clear sign holders and putting paper inserts into them. They hold up well and don't fall over when wet on a counter top like our old signs. Much easier and cheaper to produce quality signs.
